I recently entered the 'OUTDOOR PHOTOGRAPHER' Magazine's national photo contest 'NATURES COLORS' back in November and was very excited when I was notified that my image titled "LAKE SIDE AUTUMN COLORS" (*see above) was choosen by the editors as one of the FINALISTS after being picked from over 8,600+ submissions (to date their largest contest ever according to their web site). What an honor to be choosen from so many great photographs & so many talented artists & make it as a finalist. The winner will be published in the March '09 issue of the magazine along with winning some great prizes like a Nikon D300 (I could always use another back-up) and some other great stuff. I was also entered into their secondary part of the contest being the 'Peoples Choice Award' where the public was able to vote on their favorite shot. The contest is coming to an end soon and hopefully I'll be notified that I either won or took 1st-2nd or 3rd runner up which would be awesome. I just wanted to thank all the great people who took the time to place a vote for me during the Peoples Choice Award section. All I can do now is cross my fingers and hope for the best. I'll let you all know what the out come is as soon as I know!
